Learning foreign languages is deemed mind-opening and broadens the perspective on other cultures and traditions.

Learning a foreign language is an essential element of many of our exchange formats, which we support together with project partners by awarding scholarships and other such as in our program Mercator Exchange.

Our Alumni Language Learning Grant is building up on this and supports alumni, who want to expand their language skills and intercultural competences. We especially encourage young adults and multipliers from the alumni network to apply for the grant who want to continue their language education and expand their knowledge and understanding of Germany, China or Turkey.
