"Reinvigorating multilateralism in a post-pandemic world – What is ahead for Turkey-European relations?"

The COVID-19 pandemic has heightened pre-existing trends in an unprecedented way. This includes the adoption of new technologies, pressures on multilateral institutions and geopolitical cooperation as well as rivalries. The detrimental effects of the pandemic have become visible in many aspects of life, but optimists also raise hopes that the crisis could reinforce global cooperation to build more inclusive and sustainable economies and societies.

Apply now for the next Turkey Europe Future Forum from August 15-22, 2021 in Istanbul*!

The 7th Turkey Europe Future Forum (TEFF) explores the challenges and opportunities that the COVID-19 pandemic poses to the future of Turkey-European relations. How can lasting cooperative structures be ensured in times of global turmoil? How can we harness new technologies and digitalization for enhancing social cohesion and collaboration? What is the future of multilateralism in a world of increasing populist rhetoric and polarization amid the pandemic? Can the EU and Turkey reinvigorate their relations and find new integration dynamics? The TEFF brings together participants from different backgrounds to engage in
workshops, training sessions, and study trips. We want to discuss, exchange ideas, and explore common ground despite differences.
