We are delighted to share with you the new Call for Applications for 20 Fellowships as part of the re:constitution - Exchange and Analysis on Democracy and the Rule of Law in Europe programme!
re:constitution is a joint programme of Berlin-based Forum Transregionale Studien and Democracy Reporting International, funded by Stiftung Mercator. re:constitution promotes dialogue on the rule of law across Europe between scholars, lawyers and other legal practitioners, as well as journalists in the fields of law, media and politics. The Academic Director of re:constitution is Christoph Möllers, Professor of Public Law at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Permanent Fellow of the Wissenschaftskolleg zu Berlin.
The Fellowships address early-career scholars and practitioners of law and neighbouring disciplines who are interested in sharing ideas on current questions and developments of democracy and the rule of law across Europe and its member states. The Fellows will be able to flexibly pursue their own projects and will become part of a European network for the exchange of views about the state of European constitutionalism. They will receive a monthly stipend of €2,800 during a personal collaboration phase with institutions of legal scholarship and practice in another EU member state.
For further information, please see the Call for Applications attached. It has been developed taking into account the ongoing mobility restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The application deadline is 6 April 2021, 12 noon (CEST).
Feel free to share the Call for Applications in your professional networks, including lawyers, journalists and researchers who are interested in current questions of democracy and the rule of law in Europe.
