Practice- and Profession-Oriented Doctorate in the Humanities

at the a.r.t.e.s. Graduate School for the Humanities Cologne

The Mercator-scholarship supports doctoral projects regarding the exchange between science and society and an implemented practice-oriented subject. The innovative program focusses on the contribution of the humanities to actual societal topics and central aspects of practice-oriented research. The integration of a one-year practical phase within the dissertation aims at the fruitful interactions and synergy effects of academic and non-academic transfer. Mercator fellows partake in the structured doctoral programme „Integrated Track“ at the a.r.t.e.s. Graduate School.

Please apply by April 30, 2021.
