Become a European Blogger – Online Journalism at its best“ is the motto of the Intercultural Media Academy. The English-speaking program is directed towards students between 14 – 17 years mainly from Europe. The participants will learn from journalism experts and gain experiences through conducting interviews and creating their own media product. Furthermore, participants will get the opportunity to receive the Global Competence Certificate.
Experienced journalists and media experts will show you the basics of online journalism and research. You will learn how to identify fake news and how to fight against hate speech online - probably the biggest challenges of our time! Of course there will be lots of insider tips. You will put your latest knowledge into action right away with the other participants in creating your own media product. There are no limits to your creativity!
While the focus of the program will be about Media, you will also get the amazing opportunity to earn your own AFS Global Competence Certificate. In this online course you will explore self-awareness, emotional intelligence, awareness of others and how to bridge differences. Learn to see the world through different eyes without leaving your home.
