ACTIVITIES AND FORMATS
Mercator Globe Forum
The Mercator Globe Forum brings together changemakers, partners, alumni, fellows, colleagues, and experts from the diverse network of Stiftung Mercator. It is a space for exchange, inspiration, and collaboration – featuring keynotes, discussions, and interactive formats that foster bold ideas and develop solutions for a just and resilient future.
The first edition, held from 12–14 March 2025, brought our community together to address today’s global uncertainties. Together, we explored how to navigate VUCA – Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity – with agility, resilience, and impactful collective action. More about Mercator Globe Forum...
Mercatora
Mercatora is a program for women from the Globe Community who have already participated in Stiftung Mercator programs. Over the course of one year, the program offers a structured space for peer exchange, mutual support, and targeted career development.
In small groups and a trusted, safe environment, participants work on their personal and professional growth – supported by career training and access to experienced experts from the Mercator network.
Beyond the seminar series, Mercatora alumnae regularly organize joint activities and networking events to stay connected and support one another. More about Mercatora...
community@events
In addition to our own formats such as the Mercator Talk, the Globe Forum, or the Summer Reception, community@events regularly provides members of our community the opportunity to participate in high-level conferences and international forums – as part of the Mercator Globe Delegation.
We cover participation costs, including travel and accommodation. This enables networking, exchange, and shared visibility at events such as:
- Raisina Dialogue
- Munich Security Conference (MSC)
- Global Solutions Summit (GSS)
- Transatlantic Transportation Decarbonization Summit (TTDS)
- Athens Democracy Forum
- re:publica Berlin
Our goal: to create spaces for sharing knowledge, broadening perspectives, and sparking new ideas – together.
